Verdicts / Settlements (Case Results)
- $4,400,000 settlement obtained for our client that was burned by a static electricity fire that ignited when he was filling gas cans on a bed liner in the back of a pickup truck in Nevada. Another multi-million dollar settlement obtained for another client who suffered a similar tragedy while filling gas cans in the back of his pickup truck in Townsend Montana. $2,400,000 settlement obtained for our client who was injured when she was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
- In October, 2011, Ron Truman obtained a jury verdict in the Fifth Judicial District Court, in Washington County, Utah for a gentleman who was injured when he fell from the roof on a construction project in St. George, Utah. The jury valued plaintiff's general damages at $1,000,000. The jury valued his total damages at $1,262,308.38. Unfortunately, Plaintiff's award was reduced dramatically due to the jury's allocation of fault to Plaintiff and his employers
- $2,225,000 settlement for our client who was injured in 2010 in a trucking accident.
- My partner, Bryce Dixon, and I obtained a jury verdict in the United States District Court, District of Utah in October, 2009 for $450,000. Our client had fallen into a six-foot hole at a hotel and severed his patellar tendon. His medical expenses were approximately $31,000. Included in the $450,000 jury verdict was $40,000 to our client's wife for loss of consortium.
