John E. Brady

In Springfield, Vermont, attorney John E. Brady stands as a pillar of legal competence and community leadership. He then pursued his passion for law at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating cum laude in 1991. Since then, he has been a dedicated practitioner, initially in Boston and, since 1993, primarily in Vermont and New Hampshire. His legal acumen is recognized across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States District Courts for Massachusetts, the United States District Courts for Vermont and the United States District Courts for New Hampshire, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Brady has contributed significantly to the legal community. He served as president of the Windsor County Bar Association from 1996 to 2002 and chaired the Vermont Bar Association’s Tort Liability Committee. His commitment to public service is evident in his roles as the elected moderator for the Town of Springfield and the Springfield School District, and as the chancellor/president-elect of the Joan Loring Wing American Inn of Court.

Before settling in Vermont, Mr. Brady honed his skills at a Boston admiralty and maritime law firm, representing clients and insurers in complex maritime and civil litigation.
