William B. Turner

William B. Turner is a partner at Newton Turner PLLC, and represents clients in Arlington, Virginia, and the surrounding areas. He handles cases of criminal defense for those who have been accused of committing a crime. Throughout his career, he has represented many who have been involved in legal cases of criminal DUI, drug crimes and sex crimes. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

A member of the Arlington County Bar Association, Mr. Turner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in government that he earned in 2005 from Georgetown University. In 2011, he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law. He is currently a trial advocacy coach for George Mason University School of Law, was named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, and serves as an elected member of the Arlington County Bar Association’s judicial selection committee.

Mr. Turner has an Avvo “Superb” rating given to him by previous clients he has helped. With his experience as a former prosecutor and assistant commonwealth’s attorney in multiple jurisdictions in the state, he has unique insight into how to avoid and protect against government prosecution.

Along with his experience earned in the courtroom, Mr. Turner has taught seminars and classes on criminal procedure and law to several law enforcement agencies throughout his career. Passionate about the rights of the accused, he uses his experience and tenacity to secure a successful future for those who have been arrested for committing a crime.
