Carmelou G. Aloupas

Attorney Carmelou G. Aloupas is the founder and owner of Aloupas Law. A highly rated and award-winning attorney, Ms. Aloupas serves clients throughout the Hampton Roads/Southeastern Virginia area who are dealing with serious and complex legal challenges involving any of the following:

A 1991 graduate of Athens State University, Ms. Aloupas earned her Master of Science in criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. She then attended Regent University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2010. That same year, the Virginia State Bar admitted her to practice, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  In 2018. Ms. Aloupas was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.

Ms. Aloupas maintains an active presence in her legal community, as evidenced by her memberships and leadership positions with several local, state and national bar associations.  She currently serves on the board of Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocates ("CASA") and is a consistent supporter of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, and REACH (Reading Enriches All Children).   Ms. Aloupas recently sponsored a Little Free Library, which is located in the lobby of the firm's Chesapeake office.
