Attorney Profile

Don Marcari began his legal career as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) Trial Team Attorney with the United States Navy.  As a young JAG he represented a U.S. Marine stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba which became the basis for the movie “A Few Good Men.” The story exemplifies the lengths to which Mr. Marcari will go in order to protect his client’s interest and obtain the justice they deserve.  Since 1985, Don Marcari has been fighting for seriously injured people throughout North Carolina and Virginia concentrating in Plaintiff Personal Injury Law, Civil Litigation and Medical Malpractice.  In addition, Mr. Marcari continues to defend select members of the military service each year—mainly Navy and Marine Corps members.  Mr. Marcari is a highly recognized attorney who has tried over 200 jury trials and has handled cases against Ford, Firestone, American Honda, Home Depot and several national trucking companies.  He also represented a client whose case became the foundation for the movie, “The Paula Coughlin Story” and book entitled “The Story of the U.S. Navy’s Tailhook Scandal.”
