David R. Clarke

David R. Clarke is the principal attorney of Blankingship & Keith, PC, situated in Fairfax, Virginia. A large portion of his practice focuses on representing a broad range of northern Virginia clients, from individuals to owners of small businesses, CEOs and other professionals, in all family law matters that involve:

• Divorce and separation
• Division of complex marital assets
• Spousal support
• Child custody and child support issues
• Prenuptial agreements

In addition to being highly regarded in the Fairfax County courthouse for his knowledge of divorce proceedings, Mr. Clarke is professional and trustworthy. With his unique approach to handling the emotional elements of a divorce, he treats his clients with respect and compassion. Using a balanced and practical approach, he seeks to settle cases out of court whenever possible and litigates aggressively in court when necessary.

With a bachelor’s degree from the Hampden-Sydney College, Mr. Clarke graduated from the George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School with his Juris Doctor in 1979. Authorized to practice law in courts across Virginia, he holds memberships and leadership positions in several organizations, including the Fairfax Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and served as one of the board of directors of the Virginia State Bar’s Family Law Section.
