Kabara Korth Praskavich

Kabara Korth Praskavich serves as counsel for Maddox & Gerock, P.C., a family law firm located in Falls Church, Virginia. The firm handles all types of family law matters and serves clients throughout northern Virginia. It offers discounts to active and retired members of the military, police officers, firefighters and teachers.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in history at the University of Chicago, Ms. Praskavich went on to earn her Juris Doctorate at Georgetown University Law Center, where she provided more than 350 hours of volunteer legal services, receiving a pro bono certificate for her efforts. She then clerked for the Honorable Laura A. Cordero of the DC Superior Court.

Ms. Praskavich focuses her practice on all aspects of divorce, including custody and visitation, child and spousal support, equitable distribution, enforcement, modifications and jurisdictional issues. She holds a license to practice in all Virginia courts and maintains memberships in the Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax Bar Association and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association.

Named a Rising Star and subsequently a Super Lawyer, Ms. Praskavich enjoys spending time with her family, including hiking and traveling, when not practicing law. She is an avid reader and loves “all things nerdy.”
