Bennie Wall

With over a decade of experience, Bennie Wall is an estate planning and administration attorney. Currently serving as a managing principal at Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates, PLC, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, he handles matters including business planning, guardianships and conservatorships, wills and trusts, fiduciary litigation, and asset protection. Estate planning can be a complicated process, but with his focus on simplifying the process, Mr. Wall is committed to customizing the best plan for his clients.

Mr. Wall graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and communications from Christopher Newport University in 2012. He then joined the University of Richmond School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2015. In the same year, he gained his license to practice law in Virginia. Joining his current firm in 2017 as an associate attorney, he was later appointed a principal partner in 2023. 

In 2015, Mr. Wall was awarded the Harry L. Carrico Center’s Pro Bono Certification Award for his contributions to public work as a student, and he was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in estate planning the same year. He is also an active speaker, most recently speaking at 10 Real-World Lessons From Celebrity Probates on IP and Right of Publicity Viewed Through the Estate of Robin Williams. 

Apart from his professional work, Mr. Wall is an active member of the trust and estates section of the Virginia State Bar and the real property, trust and estate law section of the American Bar Association. He is also a part of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond, where he previously served as president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
