Jonathan E. Halperin

Attorney Jonathan E. Halperin, of Halperin Law Center in Glen Allen, Virginia, focuses his practice on personal injury law. Mr. Halperin represents individuals who have sustained injuries or lost a loved one due to negligence in Glen Allen, Richmond and the surrounding areas.

This experience has led to him being highly recognized for his accomplishments within the legal profession over the course of his career. He was named one of the “Best Lawyers in Richmond” by Richmond’s Style Weekly and also was named in “The Best Lawyers in America.”  He was selected as a "Top 50" lawyer ir Richmond and  "Top 100" Super Lawyer in The Commonwealth of Virginia and has been chosen by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a "Leader in the Law."  He currently serves as the Chairman of the Civil Rights Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and is on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA).

Mr. Halperin has taught courses at various continuing legal education events and for groups including the National Business Institute, the Pound Civil Justice Institute and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He has also served as an adjunct professor at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

Mr. Halperin has served the legal profession in additional ways including participating as master of the bench for the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Court and coaching the national moot court team at the American University Washington College of Law. Along with being admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, he is also licensed to appear before a number of federal courts.

Holding a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University, Mr. Halperin earned his law degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He is a member of various bar associations and professional organizations including the Richmond Bar Association, the National Center for Victims of Crime and the American Association for Justice.
