Christin Georgelas

Christin Georgelas brings some impressive qualifications to the table as a partner at SG Law, PLC. She has more than a decade of professional experience and racked up an impressive list of honors during her law studies. Her clients mainly look to her for assistance with family law, criminal law and estate planning matters in Virginia.

Ms. Georgelas started her law career as an undergraduate at Miami University, in Oxford, OH. While earning her B.A., she received several honors for sports and academic achievements. These included three CSCAA Academic All-American awards and earned her the title of Female Athlete of the Year. She graduated cum laude and then attended Valparaiso University School of Law for her law degree. Here, she graduated magna cum laude and top of her class.

In 2009, Ms. Georgelas was licensed to practice in Virginia. She is also admitted to the Washington D.C. Bar. During her career, her clients and colleagues have come to respect her as a knowledgeable attorney who treats her clients with compassion. Not surprisingly, in 2018, the Virginia Lawyers Weekly voted her an ‘Up & Coming’ Virginia Lawyer.

When she's not fighting hard for her clients, Ms. Georgelas shifts her focus to her community. Her pro bono work includes working with the Loudoun County Bar Association (either on a committee, as prior Board member, prior Co-Chair for the Thomas D. Horne Law Camp, prior member of the J&DR bench bar committee, and/or prior member of the Pro Se Litigants committee), and providing pr bono legal services through Northern Virginia Legal Services.
