She then went on to attend The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she laid a strong foundation in legal analysis and advocacy, preparing her for the demands of trial practice and high-stakes litigation and earned her Juris Doctor in 2003. In that same year, she became licensed to practice law in Virginia and later expanded her credentials to the District of Columbia.
Ms. Griggs is actively involved in numerous professional organizations such as the American Association for Justice, where she serves as a Virginia state delegate, as well as the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, where she holds the role of governor at large. She is also a member of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC, The Virginia Bar Association, the Fairfax Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
