John R. Bollinger serves as the partner in charge of the Newport News office at Boleman Law Firm, P.C., in Virginia, focusing exclusively on bankruptcy law. Understanding that financial hardship causes immense stress, he provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to debt relief. Mr. Bollinger earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Farmingdale State College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from SUNY Oneonta. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2000. Admitted to the Virginia bar in 2001, he is licensed to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
To stay at the forefront of the evolving legal landscape, Mr. Bollinger maintains active involvement in prestigious professional organizations, including the Virginia State Bar, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association, currently serving on its board.
