Keith J. Leonard

Partnering at the Huffman & Huffman Brothers-in-Law, PLLC, attorney Keith J. Leonard has been rendering proficient legal services in Virginia since being licensed by the state’s bar in 2003. With the firm branched out in Newport News and Virginia Beach in Virginia, he focuses his legal practice on fighting for plaintiffs who are victims of personal injury. He attends to cases involving defective products, negligence, truck accidents, misconduct or wrongdoings which have resulted in catastrophic injuries, loss of life, physical harm or emotional damage to the victims.

Mr. Leonard attended Old Dominion University and secured his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. He went on to graduate from the Wake Forest University School of Law with a doctorate in jurisprudence, in 2003. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

With a strong drive to bridge the gap in the odds between multinational insurance companies and the common people, Mr. Leonard is committed to helping serve justice to his clients using his skills and experience as a law practitioner with two decades of experience. He has represented a multitude of cases in the courts in the Hampton Roads area and won several verdicts in his clients’ favor.

Standing by his clients throughout the litigation process, Mr. Leonard makes sure that they understand every detail of their case each step of the way so that they can weigh their options and take decisions. He is persistent in his efforts to get to the end of a case and ensure that he puts up a tough fight to attain fair compensation for their loss. An active member of the legal community in Virginia, Mr. Leonard is affiliated with associations, including the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. Apart from his professional service, he sets apart substantial time to contribute to his society by supporting community-oriented groups such as the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA), a charitable organization that aims at treating patients of the genetic disorder – Friedreich’s Ataxia.
