Ashley R. Passero

Ashley R. Passero is an associate attorney at the law firm of LawrenceQueen in Richmond, Virginia. Ms. Passero concentrates her practice on employment law. She represents both employers and employees in Richmond, Petersburg and the surrounding areas.

Ms. Passero has considerable experience with employment law issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and family and medical leave. She is empathetic to the needs of her clients, understanding how employment law disputes can have significant consequences for their personal and professional lives. She helps clients understand all their available legal options and works hard to bring them the best results.

Outside of the office, Ms. Passero stays up to date with developments in the legal field and remains involved in her legal community. She is an active member of The Virginia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association and holds a license to practice law before the state courts of both states.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Richmond, Ms. Passero earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she also received magna cum laude honors.

Prior to joining LawrenceQueen, Ms. Passero represented employers at another Richmond-based law firm and practiced at a firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her background in employer-side employment law gives her valuable insight into the best strategies in her practice today. In addition to employment law, she has experience with real estate law and issues in environmental and natural resources law.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Passero spent a year as a foreign teacher at a university in China.
