Craig W. Sampson is an attorney with the Barnes & Diehl, P.C. A highly rated trial lawyer with 25 years of legal experience, Mr. Sampson focuses on complex family law cases. His representation includes, when necessary, handling criminal charges that arise in the context of domestic relations matters.
After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature, Mr. Sampson returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1993. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
A recognized leader in his practice areas, Mr. Sampson has written extensively on a number of legal topics related to family and criminal law. He lectures twice annually at the Virginia Advanced Family Law Seminar, providing family lawyers across Virginia with an update on relevant caselaw.
He also maintains an active presence in his legal community, as evidenced by his memberships with several local, state and national bar associations, and he is the past president of the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association.
