Irene C. Delcamp is an attorney with the Richmond, Virginia, law firm of Barnes & Diehl, P.C. Serving clients throughout the Greater Richmond-Petersburg metro region, Ms. Delcamp focuses her practice primarily on family law and helping her clients resolve their conflicts and reach viable agreements with regard to child custody and support, property division, alimony, and all other related matters.
A Dean's List scholar at the University of Virginia, Ms. Delcamp earned a Bachelor of Arts in government and American politics in 2002. She then attended the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as treasurer of the student bar association and acted as solicitations editor for the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business.
She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2005, and the Virginia State Bar admitted her to practice that same year. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Highly active in her legal community, Ms. Delcamp is the 2020-2021 President of the Chesterfield County and City of Colonial Heights Bar Association. Â She served as a board member for 3 years prior to rising to President. Â She is also a member of several local, state and national bar associations, and she served as membership chair for the Domestic Relations Section Council of The Virginia Bar Association. She served on the VBA Domestic Relations Council for 7 years total. Â
Irene Delcamp has presented CLEs and served as Moderator for the Richmond Bench Bar CLE in Richmond, Virginia in 2017 and 2019. Â She is a former board member of the Metro Richmond Women's Bar Association.
