Jamie B. Sexton

A compassionate professional, Jamie B. Sexton is a seasoned family law attorney at Jamie B. Sexton, PLC, a firm based in Richmond, Virginia. With over two decades of experience in litigating family law matters, she has become one of the most sought-after attorneys in the state. From divorce, child custody and support to estate planning, business valuation, modification of existing orders and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, she has handled a wide range of cases in her long career.

Ms. Sexton completed her undergraduate studies in history at North Carolina State University, graduating magna cum laude. Later, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond – School of Law in 2002, and the very same year, she was admitted to practice law in the state. After graduating law school, she worked alongside several esteemed attorneys, garnering knowledge and navigating complex legal terrain. She has also served as guardian ad litem, advocating for children in custody, delinquency and abuse and neglect cases. In 2007, she founded her own law firm, Jamie B. Sexton, PLC.
