As an Attorney and Counselor at Law I am passionate about two things -- Solving Problems and Delivering Results.

Over the years I have found my own blueprint for doing this. There are three things I do with every client. Three action items have become my core principles that I apply to every case, no matter how big or how small.

(1)-Uphold the highest ethical standards, (2)- Prioritize prompt and personal communication with my clients so they are always informed, and (3)- Always do what I say I am going to do.

My practice focuses on personal injury litigation and general civil litigation. "Litigation" is a fancy buzzword for a lot of lawyers. Put simply, it means there is a problem. My job is to solve it. If I solve it quickly, I will have done my job. If something is dragged out for years that doesn't need to be, I have failed.

The last sentence is what many lawyers do wrong. Many lawyers call themselves "bulldogs" who "never give an inch." While this is needed many times, most of the time it does nothing to help solve your problem. I fight for my clients in Court, but I also fight for my clients before we ever get to Court.

If I do my job well, I will accomplish my client's goals quickly, efficiently, and never have to put my clients through a trial. Our time together will be short lived, and you will quickly move on with your life. This is not easy to do. Some lawyers feel that it is much easier just to file a suit and go through the motions, even if that is not in the best interest of the client. I want to do whatever is best for my client.

What is difficult is the science and art of getting people, including insurance companies, to do what you want. There is a science behind negotiation. Negotiation skills are so important that classes are taught at Harvard and the FBI Academy to teach those skills. Understanding how to do this is the difference between a lawyer who solves a problem and a lawyer who makes the problem worse. Negotiation does not work all the time, but you must try. Most lawyers do not try.

So, whether we are in Court or outside of Court, my clients know me for my approachable and easygoing manner, my responsiveness, and my extreme diligence with everything I do.

I look forward to solving your problem.
