Melissa S. VanZile

Ms. VanZile is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Henrico County Bar Association, the Richmond Bar Association, the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association and the Chesterfield County Bar Association. A past board member and past president of the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association, she is also a past board member of the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association, the St. Joseph’s Villa Flagler Home and a past co-chair of the Annual Bench Bar Conference.

She is admitted to practice in Virginia, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Mary Washington College in 2001. At the University of Richmond, The T.C. Williams School of Law, Ms. VanZile earned a Juris Doctor in 2004.

Ms. VanZile handles family law matters including but not limited to child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, divorce and separation, pre- and postnuptial agreements, and complex equitable distribution. Ms. VanZile has also presented at various classes seminars and has published written articles on topics related to family law.
