Wiley Latham

Wiley Latham, a founding partner at Latham & Martin, P.C., in Richmond, Virginia, dedicates his legal practice to personal injury cases, including those involving car accidents, medical negligence, defective products and unsafe premises. His services extend across Richmond and nearby areas like Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Hopewell and Colonial Heights. Licensed to represent clients in all Virginia courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, he is well-equipped to handle a variety of legal challenges.

Born and raised in Richmond, Mr. Latham pursued his undergraduate studies in political science at Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law. During his time in law school, he held the position of Social Action Chair for the Black Law Students Association. Before embarking on his legal journey, he shared his knowledge with high school students in the Henrico and Goochland County School Systems. 

In 2020, Mr. Latham played a pivotal role as co-counsel in achieving Virginia’s largest trial verdict, where he advocated for a client who suffered significant harm due to medical malpractice. His legal acumen has been demonstrated in successful arguments before the Virginia Supreme Court. 

A respected member of the legal fraternity, Mr. Latham is associated with the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Richmond Bar Association, the Henrico County Bar Association, the Hill Tucker Bar Association and the American Association of Justice. Before establishing Latham & Martin, P.C., he honed his skills at a mid-sized personal injury law firm in Richmond, where he was dedicated to advocating for accident victims in Richmond, Petersburg and neighboring areas.
