Jonathan R. Deloatche

Jonathan R. Deloatche is a founding partner of Williams DeLoatche, P.C., in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has spent his entire life building strong ties throughout the Tidewater region. He devotes his professional efforts to helping clients injured in motor vehicle collisions – whether involving cars, trucks, motorcycles or pedestrian accidents – as well as matters of wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, nursing home neglect, premises liability, dog bites and DUI or other traffic violations. He works diligently to secure fair compensation for medical bills, lost wages and the broader impacts of life-altering injuries.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in 1992, Mr. Deloatche went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1995. Early in his career, he defended the largest taxicab operator in Norfolk, handling civil defense litigation and traffic-related disputes. He also took on cases for insurance carriers, guiding them through claims involving construction disagreements, allegations of fraud, breach of contract and personal injury suits.

Mr. Deloatche’s time representing insurers and their clients provided him with a unique perspective on how claims are evaluated and defended. He has leveraged that insight to build a practice devoted to advocating for individuals who have suffered serious harm. Drawing on his history in civil defense, he brings a comprehensive understanding of both sides of a dispute to every case he accepts.

Over the years, Mr. Deloatche has led litigation across the Southeastern United States, with hundreds of trials conducted in the Tidewater area, Eastern Shore and Northern Neck.
