T. Wayne Williams

T. Wayne Williams, a distinguished legal professional and co-founder of Williams DeLoatche, P.C., has been a pillar of the Virginia Beach legal community since establishing his firm in 2008. With a career spanning over two decades, he has dedicated his practice to advocating for individuals who have suffered personal injuries, focusing on cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, nursing home abuse, traumatic brain injuries and dog bites across Virginia. His competence also extends to handling wrongful death claims, traffic violations, and DUI cases, achieving settlements and verdicts amounting to tens of millions of dollars.

Mr. Williams' legal journey began after earning a history degree from the University of Virginia in 1995, followed by a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2000. Before founding his own firm, he honed his skills at both a small civil litigation firm and a large defense litigation firm, representing a variety of insurance companies and self-insured entities nationwide. His extensive experience on both sides of the courtroom equips him with a unique perspective in personal injury litigation.

A native of Virginia's Eastern Shore and a long-time resident of the Hampton Roads area, Mr. Williams has tried hundreds of cases in circuit and general district courts throughout the Commonwealth, including the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. His commitment to the legal profession is reflected in his active membership in several bar associations, including the Norfolk and Portsmouth Bar Association, where he has served as past president and currently contributes to the Foundation Board.

Recognized for his outstanding community service, Mr. Williams received the esteemed Walter E. Hoffman award in 2010. He is also highly regarded for his dedication to education, having chaired a mock trial program for Norfolk Public School Middle Schools for over 23 years, inspiring thousands of students to learn about the legal system and the role of a trial lawyer.
