T. Brooke Howard, II

A life long resident of Fauquier County, Brooke (aka BITsquire) left to pursue his undergraduate degree at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland Virginia. He graduated in 2008 with a major in Sociology with a minor in English.  
  
Following graduation, Brooke interned with the Honorable Terrence R. Ney of the Fairfax County Circuit Court in the summer of 2008. That fall, he began a clerkship at the Prince William County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, under the tutelage of one of a few legendary Commonwealth‘s Attorneys in the history of Virginia, Paul B. Ebert. From 2008 to 2011, Brooke continued with that office during his summer breaks from law school.

Brooke graduated from Appalachian School of Law in 2012. Since 2013, Brooke has obtained hundreds of favorable results for his clients, both in the criminal and civil realms, and looks forward to serving all of your legal needs.

Brooke has been lead counsel/first chair on numerous criminal matters throughout his career in Virginia, ranging from high profile 1st Degree Murder, Malicious Wounding and Sexual Assualt cases, to high asset/value White Collar Fraud cases, and all the way down to DUIs and Simple Assault and Battery.  
    
Brooke has been published in two criminal appellate opinions out of the Virginia Supreme Court dealing with Constitutional Double Jeopardy and Guilty Plea Acceptance and Logistics issues, and has been a Thomson Rueters SUPER LAWYERS Rising Star from 2018 thru 2025.

Brooke started transitioning his practice to 50% criminal litigation and 50% Domestic/Civil litigation in late 2018, and has also been recognized in the Domestic Relations/Divorce field with the Thomson Reuters/LawInfo.com LEAD COUNSEL Designation since 2023.

     By way of Domestic Relations/Divorce, Brooke has leveraged his litigation experience into the domestic field, ranging from high asset divorce, support and enforcement litigation and negotiation, with marital estate values now cumulatively totaling in the eight figure range (i.e. $10,000,000.00 +) and growing - to juvenile court custody, visitation and support litigation.
     
Brooke is also PEER RATED with Martindale-Hubble, 4.3 out of 5 by his peers.

Admitted to practice in Virginia since 2013, Mr. Howard remains active in the legal community through his memberships in the National Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Fauquier County Bar Association.
