Michael Kalish

Michael Kalish is an attorney and a shareholder at the law firm of Walsh Colucci Lubeley & Walsh PC located in Woodbridge, Virginia. Serving clients throughout all of northern Virginia, he concentrates his practice on commercial, corporate and real estate litigation and general business representation.

Mr. Kalish takes the time to listen keenly to his clients and explains the complex legal jargon and the legal process to them in a simple and comprehensible manner. He zealously and fiercely advocates for his clients’ rights both inside and outside the courtroom. 

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Mr. Kalish has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He pursued his legal studies at the Seton Hall University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2006. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Maryland and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. 

Taking on cases in Virginia’s state and federal courts, Mr. Kalish has represented clients with commercial and complicated litigation, real estate and other real property disputes, general corporate matters, and transactional work. He has immense experience with mechanic’s liens and the Miller Act, corporate dispute resolution, and the drafting and negotiation of construction and consultant services contracts, vendor agreements and leases. 

Mr. Kalish is an active member of the Virginia State Bar Association, the Prince William County Bar Association and the Prince William County Bar Association Judicial Selection Committee. He is also known for involving in his community and serves as a general counsel at the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce and a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees.
