Andrew Danas

Andrew Danas is a partner at Grove, Jaskiewicz, and Cobert LLP in Washington, D.C., where he advises domestic and international businesses on a broad range of commercial, regulatory and cross-border legal matters. He has developed a distinguished practice representing companies involved in international trade and transportation, helping clients navigate the legal and regulatory challenges of conducting business in the United States and around the world.

Combining strategic counsel with practical business insight, Mr. Danas works closely with clients to resolve complex legal issues while supporting their long-term commercial objectives. He regularly counsels businesses on corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and the legal obligations associated with international operations.

A significant portion of Mr. Danas's practice involves representing clients before federal agencies of the United States government. He serves as division chair of the Trade, International Organizations and Regulatory Practices Division of the American Bar Association's International Law Section and has previously held leadership positions as co-chair of both the International Transportation Committee and the International Contracts Committee.

Mr. Danas also serves as co-chair of the Antitrust and Unfair Trade Practices Committee of the Transportation Lawyers Association and chairs the Management Committee of the EALG Network of International Law Firms. He earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. from George Washington University National Law School.
