Barry Boss co-chairs Cozen O'Connor's commercial litigation department and also co-chairs its white-collar defense and investigations practice. Barry has represented his clients in complex criminal defense matters for more than 30 years. Mr. Boss represents clients in federal courts throughout the United States, focusing on cases involving government investigations, trials and appeals in industries such as health care, food and beverage, sports and gaming. 

Mr. Boss was awarded his Juris Doctor with high honors by the George Washington University Law School in 1985 after first receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College in 1982. Before he joined Cozen O'Connor, Mr. Boss worked as an assistant federal public defender. He has substantial appellate and trial experience and has tried numerous criminal matters in United States District Courts throughout the country.  In addition, Mr. Boss has a deep background in federal sentencing and he is often retained by clients to handle that portion of the case.

Over the years, Mr. Boss has developed a reputation as a highly-skilled lawyer, as attested to his receipt of an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Boss has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America directory each year since 2010.
