During this period, he provided legal support to the Honorable Susan R. Holmes Winfield and subsequently to the Honorable Jerry S. Byrd. Upon completing his clerkships, he transitioned into private practice, joining a prominent law firm in Washington, DC.

Mr. Locey consistently dedicates his time to offering pro bono services for the Advocacy & Justice Clinic of the District of Columbia Bar, augmenting his professional engagements. Moreover, he has diligently served two consecutive three-year terms on the Steering Committee of the D.C. Bar Family Law Section, holding the position of former co-chair.
