Darius is the founder of Keyhani LLC and heads the patent and intellectual property litigation practice in federal courts where Darius exclusively practices.* Darius has been selected as a 2026 Super Lawyer for intellectual property litigation for Washington, DC.
Darius and his team have successfully represented individuals and private and publicly held corporations in all phases of high-stakes and complex litigation from preliminary hearings through trial and settlement negotiations in patent, trade secret, copyright, trademark and unfair competition matters. Over the past two decades, Darius has served as lead litigation and trial counsel in over eighty (80) cases in federal district and appeals courts including the United States Supreme Court.
Darius was previously a professor in South Korea where he taught courses in patent and IP law to graduate students including examiners at the Korean Patent Office. Darius was also previously affiliated with premier national and international law firms where he focused on patent and intellectual property litigation.
A graduate of New York University School of Law and SUNY Buffalo Law, Darius was the founding editor of the State University of New York’s Intellectual Property Law Journal subscribed to by the leading law schools in the country and often cited. Darius’ writings have been published and cited in academic law journals, trade journals and congressional/legislative committee advisory opinions on a variety of intellectual property law, international, and civil procedure issues and he is invited as a speaker, commentator/panelist at IP forums. Darius has also been interviewed and invited as a commentator by numerous national media outlets including CNN, Fox Business, and LAW360.
Darius is passionate about and dedicated to feeding the hungry, defending justice, and the rights of the underdogs, the indigent, and the forgotten and his Lahainaluna high school wrestling team in Lahaina, Maui where he grew up.
