He has also worked for the American Federation of Government Employees, and he helped establish the Society of Federal Labor and Employee Relations Professionals while also serving as its president.

Mr. Passman has numerous publications to his credit, and he routinely conducts lectures and continuing legal education seminars across the country on a variety of legal topics related to federal employee rights, effective trial advocacy and more. He has also served as co-author and co-editor of the Federal Employees Legal Survival Guide, and he has attained the status of Fellow with the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Inc.
