Eugene Gorokhov

Eugene Gorokhov is the founding partner of the Washington, D.C., law firm of Burnham & Gorokhov, PLLC. He created the law firm in partnership with another attorney in 2009, soon after he was admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. 

Additionally, Mr. Gorokhov is qualified to appear before the state courts and Supreme Courts of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the federal courts of Maryland and Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th, 10th and 11th Circuits.

Mr. Gorokhov’s client base is made up of people who have been accused of federal and state criminal charges such as white collar crimes, bank and accounting fraud, aggravated identity theft, health care fraud, tax and Social Security fraud, conspiracy, bribery, illegal gratuity, and immigration and naturalization fraud. He assists clients throughout the country with appeals, grand jury trials, government investigations and post-conviction proceedings.

Mr. Gorokhov’s successful track record in and out of the courtroom has earned him the respect of his peers and clients alike. He diligently advocates on behalf of his clients while staying responsive and empathetic to their queries and needs. As a result of his accomplishments, he was named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers list by The National Trial Lawyers.

Fluent in English and Russian, Mr. Gorokhov received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park, in the year 2003. He then attended the George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School to pursue law. As a law student, he served as a Senior Articles Editor of the Civil Rights Law Journal. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2006.
