Philip Moffat founded Verdant Law to meet the growing demand for sustainability- and product stewardship-focused legal services and to deliver greater value in how those services are provided. He earned his J.D. with high honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law while simultaneously completing a Master’s of Science in Environmental Engineering Sciences, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif for his academic excellence.
Drawing on both his education and professional experience, Mr. Moffat has guided clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies on complex litigation, regulatory, and transactional matters, with a particular focus on the environmental regulation of products. His work has supported many of the nation’s leading corporations listed in Newsweek’s “Green Rankings,” as well as small and mid-sized businesses developing sustainability strategies.
