  • Oil and Products Pipelines - Regulatory Compliance.  Experience include assisting major international oil company with analysis of FERC regulation of potential interstate pipeline in the Marcellus Shale region, including jurisdictional and rate structure issues.
  • Natural Gas Pipelines - Commercial Agreements.  Experience includes representation of various shippers in precedent agreement and tariff provision negotiations with FERC-regulated natural gas pipeline companies and representation of shippers in asset management arrangement (AMA) negotiations.  
  • Oil and Products Pipelines - Commercial Agreements.  Experience includes negotiation of transportation service agreement, tariff rules and regulations, and storage agreement on behalf of foundation shipper for greenfield crude oil pipeline in Texas. 
  • Natural Gas Pipelines - Regulatory Compliance.  Experience includes advising shippers and natural gas marketers and traders on FERC practicies and policies including issues related to open seasons, capacity release, shipper-must-have-title, and the prohibitions against buy-sell transactions, flipping, and tying.  Experience also includes assisting large energy trading companies with regulatory compliance in acquisition of natural gas trading books, including review of key commercial provisions, verification of compliance with FERC regulations and policies, and representation before FERC in applications for waivers to effectuate the sale and purchase.   
  • LNG Projects.  Experience includes representation of LNG project developers, including Magnolia LNG LLC and Texas LNG LLC, in various regulatory and commercial aspects of project development including before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Department of Energy (DOE); and advising small-scale LNG project developers on potential FERC regulation under various project scenarios.    
  • Infrastructure Invesment Funds.  Experience includes advising two New York based infrastructure investment funds on various proceedings before FERC related to interstate natural gas pipelines, LNG projects, and interstate petroleum and petroleum products pipelines.
