The founder of Zamani & Associates PLLC, Sogand Zamani represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, adoption, custody and assisted reproductive technology. She offers her services to individuals in Maryland and the District of Columbia, where she is admitted to practice. Ms. Zamani started her education career at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where she earned a Bachelor of Science, graduating cum laude. At Harvard University, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, she earned a Master of Arts in 2002 before earning her Juris Doctor in 2005 from George Washington University Law School.
Proficient in French and Persian, Ms. Zamani is passionate about community involvement, volunteering on the District of Columbia Superior Court’s Domestic Relations Subcommittee currently. Sogand was a past Board Member and Past-President of the D.C. Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and was previously elected to the Maryland State Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Board. Sogand also served as a president of the Collaborative Project of D.C., where she remains a member of the board.
