He then attended the University of Iowa College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor with High Distinction in 2010, graduating Order of the Coif. While in law school, he won Best Brief at the McGee Civil Rights Moot Court Competition and he received the Joan Hueffner & Stephen Steinbrink Real Estate Award.
