Lara Wilcox

Lara Wilcox is a seasoned attorney at Otorowski & Golden, PLLC who primarily handles medical malpractice and personal injury cases of clients from the state of Washington. Passionate about safeguarding the rights of victims who were injured through no fault of their own, she represents them with their medical malpractice and personal injury issues, including nursing home neglect, automobile and bicycle accidents, pedestrian collisions, defective products, construction site injuries, premises liability claims, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death. 

Licensed to practice law in the states of Washington and Idaho, Ms. Wilcox is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington. She completed her undergraduate degree at Western Washington University, graduating with a B.A. in 2002. Right after fulfilling a brief internship with the Whatcom County Public Defender, she pursued her interest in the legal field at Gonzaga University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2009. 

While at law school, Ms. Wilcox received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for getting the highest grade in appellate writing, interned with the Spokane County Prosecutor and advocated for the rights of clients at the Gonzaga University Legal Assistance Clinic. Rated “Superb” on Avvo, Ms. Wilcox is well-appreciated by both her clients and peers for her tenacious work ethic and compassionate outlook. 

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Wilcox dedicates time to giving speeches and talks about her practice areas in notable organizations, such as the Washington State Association for Justice, the Spokane Courts New Admittee CLE, The Military Justice Project Training at Fairchild Air Force Base and the Intro to the Courts CLE. As someone who prioritizes clear communication and transparency, she ensures to inform her clients throughout the entirety of the case with utmost dignity and respect. 

Ms. Wilcox is an engaging member of the legal community and maintains memberships with many prominent legal associations, such as the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ; Development Committee and Women of WSAJ), the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, the Kitsap County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Idaho State Bar, the Spokane County Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association.
