Andrew H. May

Andrew H. May is an attorney at Envision Family Law in Seattle, Washington. Mr. May devotes his practice exclusively to family law, representing clients in Seattle and throughout the state of Washington.

A third-generation family law attorney with more than a decade of experience, Mr. May handles all types of family law cases, including those involving adoption, child custody, child support, common law marriage, divorce, domestic violence, emergency actions, LGBTQ matters, military divorce, military relocation, parental relocation and paternity disputes.

In addition to his exceptional litigation skills, Mr. May is trained in mediation, which enables him to help his clients achieve an amicable solution to their legal issues, designed with their best interests in mind. He understands the stress of a family-related legal conflict, and provides personalized, efficient, compassionate and high-quality legal services.

Mr. May obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science from Dartmouth College. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, graduating with high honors. While attending law school, he participated on the moot court team and served as a teaching assistant for legal writing courses.

Mr. May received mediation training from the University of Washington and is a former co-leader of a professional organization focused on alternative dispute resolution. In recognition of his successful legal career, in 2019 the Association of America’s Top Lawyers included him on its “top 100” list. He enjoys staying involved in his legal community and is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association.
