Doug's practice is focused on representing creditors in state and federal courts, and in pre-litigation efforts to resolve disputes and non-payment matters.  His clients include local, regional, national and international banks, private lenders, other business creditors, and receivers.

In connection with non-performing real estate loans, he assists creditors in seeking to resolve non-payment matters through loan modifications, workouts, forbearance agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and other potential solutions prior to initiating a lawsuit.  In state courts, his practice is focused on matters including lien foreclosures, collections, and receiverships.  In federal courts, he represents creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy litigation, including actions concerning relief from stay, preferences, fraudulent transfers, leases, lien priority disputes, and objections to bankruptcy plan proposals.

Additionally, Doug represents real estate clients, including condominium and homeowners associations, in disputes and litigation in a wide variety of matters such as assessment collections, lien enforcement, and other real estate-related matters.
