Attorney Francisco A. Duarte is a partner with Fury Duarte PS law firm in Bellevue, Washington. A former assistant attorney general for Washington State and deputy prosecuting attorney for King County, Mr. Duarte has invaluable insight into the criminal justice system, which helps him devise the most effective defense strategies possible for the accused. A 1987 graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Mr. Duarte obtained his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1994, where he received the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Outside his legal practice, Mr. Duarte is highly involved with his local community, and he has served as chair and board member of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children as well as secretary and board member of the Seattle Shakespeare Company. He is also the former chair of the WACDL Public Education Committee.
