He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Outside his legal practice, Mr. Duarte is highly involved with his local community, and he has served as chair and board member of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children as well as secretary and board member of the Seattle Shakespeare Company.
