Joseph W. Moore

I represent individuals and families with legal issues following serious personal injuries, the wrongful death of a loved one, or the denial of benefits or coverage following an insurance claim (e.g. claims under the Insurance Fair Conduct Act, including homeowner, commercial, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverages). I am often retained to file lawsuits against large insurance companies or corporations. I regularly handle cases across Washington state and in federal court. I have experience litigating large cases across the country. 

I grew up in Snohomish and returned back to the area after completing my college education.  Prior to law school, I completed a master’s degree in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.  After finishing my degree in theology, I chose to go to law school because I believed the legal profession would allow me to make a practical difference in the lives of others.  It is for this reason that I choose to practice in areas where I get to represent individuals who need help to overcome a loss.

I graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law with the degree of Juris Doctor.  For the first two years of law school I worked full-time during the day and attended classes at night.  Despite the busy schedule, I received multiple honors for my academic accomplishments and graduated within the top 10% of my class. I have been recognized as a "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers every year since starting my own firm and am rated 10/10 on AVVO, with numerous endorsements from colleagues and clients.
