Before founding her law firm, Christina T. Sherman, PLLC, in 2015, Ms. Sherman practiced in a variety of legal fields such as personal injury, employment matters and labor law. With a new focus on helping couples start added focus, she has received praise from both peers and clients on her determined approach in and out of the courtroom. She holds a perfect “10.0” rating on Avvo and is a fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys.

After graduating from Canisius College in 1996 with her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Sherman obtained her Master of Arts degree in 1999 from Colorado State University. With a passion to pursue law, she attended Cornell Law School and received her Juris Doctor in 2002. During her time in law school, she was part of the Environmental Law Society and a Legal Methods Teaching Assistant. In addition, she was also a Legal Methods Honor Fellow as well.

After receiving her license to practice in New York (2003) and Washington (2005), Ms. Sherman wasted no time getting big results for her clients. She won $1.1 million for her client in an injured seamen case, and $300,000 in an employment discrimination on behalf of a woman who was wrongfully terminated for being pregnant.

Ms. Sherman takes pride in her work within the legal community of Washington, and she holds close affiliations with organizations, including the Washington Association for Justice’s CLE Committee, the Pierce County Young Lawyers Association and the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association for Justice. Yearning to educate her community on all matters related to law, she has published a plethora of articles and has given lectures and speeches across many platforms.
