Roy Umlauf is a mediator with Kubik Mediation. His broad 40 year litigation practice has included catastrophic damages, construction claims, products and personal injury, motor vehicle, premises liability, bad faith, legal & medical malpractice, professional liability, sex abuse, employment and underinsured motorist claims. He was President of the Washington Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2021 and  past president for the Foundation for Washington State Courts. He was honored with admission to the American College of Trial Lawyers and has received the Jack P. Scholfield Outstanding Achievement Award by the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, King County Bar Association Outstanding Lawyer as well as numerous other awards. Roy is a past president of WDTL and  past board director of DRI. Roy’s practice now focuses on serving as a mediator.
