Jennifer Duran

Jennifer Duran, a partner and attorney at the Smith Duran law firm in Rochester, Washington, is a staunch advocate for the rights of injured clients. Her unwavering commitment extends to King County, Lewis County, Pierce County, Thurston County and throughout Western Washington, including the Seattle-Tacoma metro.

A compassionate professional, Ms. Duran never treats her clients as just another claim number and understands the impacts injuries may have on her clients’ professional, financial and day-to-day lives. She primarily focuses on personal injury and workers’ compensation claims pertaining to motor vehicle and truck accidents, construction accidents, catastrophic injuries, defective tools and equipment, and premises liability.

After her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Duran pursued her master’s degree in development cooperation at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea, and graduated in 2010. She then completed her Juris Doctor in 2016 at St. Mary's University School of Law, where she was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and Military Law Association. She obtained her license to practice law in Washington in 2016.

With experience as a paralegal, brief writer and liaison between the communication department and the student body of St. Mary's University, Ms. Duran boasts a diverse work history. Additionally, throughout her time in law school, she has generously given over 100 hours of her time to pro bono causes, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to serving the community. Now, as an attorney, she skillfully utilizes her breadth of experience to serve her clients with excellence.
