Austin J. Neff is a partner at Osborn Machler & Neff, PLLC, in Seattle, Washington. He represents individuals and families in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, sexual abuse and motor vehicle accident cases. He has built a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer whose advocacy has secured significant results for his clients, both in and out of the courtroom.
Mr. Neff’s very first civil jury trial resulted in a $1.08 million verdict for a nerve injury victim and their family, the largest jury award of its kind in the history of Lewis County, Washington. Since then, he has continued to achieve positive outcomes, recovering millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. He is equally effective in negotiation and mediation, ensuring his clients’ interests are protected at every stage of the legal process.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Neff served as a prosecutor with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted violent offenders. That experience sharpened his courtroom skills and laid the foundation for his current trial practice.
In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Neff was named the APEX Young Lawyer of the Year by the Washington State Bar Association in 2024. He is also a member of the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
