He also has a background in commercial real estate litigation, including transactions, title issues, land use issues, and environmental issues. Admitted to practice in Washington and California, Mr. Lawler is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He is a member of several professional organizations.  He taught undergraduate law courses for 17 years at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. He has been a frequent seminar speaker on a wide range of real estate related topics.
