Having graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington, Ms. Calogero obtained her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. She also possesses a master’s degree in bioethics from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in education from Western Washington University. Before embarking on her legal career in 2010, she taught biology and genetics at a Seattle public high school and authored and instructed bioethics curricula.

Appointed over 90 times by the King County Superior Court, Ms. Calogero serves as guardian ad litem, court-appointed attorney or special representative in cases involving incapacitated persons and minors. She frequently shares her insights with legal professionals and community groups on end-of-life planning, estate planning, guardianships, trusts and elder law.

A former chair of the Elder Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association's Executive Committee, Ms. Calogero currently leads the King County Bar Association’s Guardianship and Elder Law Section. She has been an active member of both committees for 13 years and participates in the Estate Planning Council of Seattle and Washington Women in Tax.
