Attorney Profile

Ms. Fleming is a leading personal injury litigator with record results from matters involving catastrophic bike injuries, pedestrian injuries, auto injuries and nursing home neglect/wrongful death.

She takes pride in fighting for clients who were wronged because of negligence.

Her experience with data privacy was the result only after former clients pleaded with her to take on giants for negligent handling of their sensitive information, leading to major data breaches. A recent success is as the attorney who represented the only Washington State residents in the country's largest data breach litigation, In Re Anthem Data Breach.  She also advises other lawyers/law firms regarding the safeguarding of confidential client information. Catherine is also the lead attorney on the only class action in Washington State against Equifax (Pavitt et al v. Equifax) for its breach of 145+ million individuals.

Her practice areas also include wrongful death, medical negligence and nursing home abuse. To provide a glimpse into her diverse caseload, the following is an incomplete snapshot of her practice: Ms. Fleming is lead counsel in representing (1) the estate of a woman who died on the steep driveway of an adult family home, (2) the estate of a man who died because his surgeon chose the wrong procedure, (3) a bike commuter, who was run over by a city bus because of a negligently designed roadway.
