Christy Ridner

Christy Ridner is a dedicated family law practitioner at Meridian Family Law in Seattle, Washington. With a comprehensive focus on alimony and spousal support, child support, custody and visitation, dissolution of marriage, domestic violence, paternity, prenuptial agreements, marital property distribution and same-sex family law, she brings both compassion and tenacity to every case she handles.

A Pacific Northwest native, Ms. Ridner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in business management with a minor in law from Western Washington University. Immediately following her undergraduate studies, she pursued her legal education at Seattle University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude as a member of the top 10% of her class.

While in law school, Ms. Ridner interned for a King County Superior Court judge who presided over family law matters – a formative experience that solidified her commitment to guiding individuals through pivotal personal transitions. Before entering private practice, she served as a prosecutor in domestic violence cases. Countless hours in the courtroom sharpened her litigation skills and deepened her understanding of both the legal system and the human dynamics at play in high-conflict matters. Today, she leverages that courtroom experience to advocate fiercely for clients who have suffered abuse while maintaining a steadfast dedication to their well-being and rights.

Although Ms. Ridner is a seasoned litigator, she is equally committed to resolving disputes outside the courtroom whenever possible. As a collaboratively trained attorney, she works hand in hand with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate constructive agreements that conserve time, reduce stress and minimize financial burden.
