Desiree Good

Desirée Good is an attorney at DuBois Cary Law Group PLLC, located in Seattle, Washington. Focusing her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting matters, child support, legal separation and more, she has been licensed in Washington since 2016.  

Compassionate and empathetic, Ms. Good has a genuine concern for her clients, especially when they are going through the frustrating and complex process of divorce and separation. Prioritizing their well-being and interests, she is a zealous advocate for the rights of her clients. She helps her clients plan for their future and feel positive about things ahead. 

Graduating summa cum laude, Ms. Good has a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences in philosophy and psychology from Washington State University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University, School of Law. While in law school, she was nominated to speak at the commencement ceremony. 

After which, Ms. Good attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Madrid, Spain, to study International Comparative Family Law. She also interned at the International Human Rights Clinic. Known for her active involvement within the legal community, Ms. Good is actively affiliated with the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and the King County Bar Association’s Family Law and Collaborative Law Sections. 

Ms. Good is passionate about helping those who need it the most in her community and frequently volunteers with the King County Bar Association Housing Justice Project. This project focuses on aiding underprivileged renters who are being evicted. 

Additionally, Ms. Good serves as a board member at the King County Library System Foundation, an association that encourages literacy, libraries and learning. She is also a member of the Freedom to Read Foundation, which is a nonprofit that is a part of the American Library Association that aims at protecting and promoting freedom of the press and access to information.
