Eric S. Nelson

Attorney Eric S. Nelson is the founder of Nelson Injury Law in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Nelson serves clients who have sustained a serious injuries or lost a loved one due to the negligence of others. He handles matters involving bicycle accidents, car accidents, pedestrian accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, trip and falls, medical malpractice, and trucking accidents.

A Seattle native, Mr. Nelson attended O'Dea High School, received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, and earned his law degree with honors (Cum Laude) from Pepperdine University School of Law. He has been a licensed attorney since 1992 and has more than 29 years of experience litigating on behalf of injured Washington residents.

Following law school, Mr. Nelson returned to the Seattle area and began his legal career practicing law with his father. Over the course of his career, he has helped numerous clients from all walks of life recover fair compensation for their injuries. He is admitted to practice in all Washington State courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Nelson has served as an arbitrator for the King County Superior Court. He is a member of the King County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington State Association for Justice (Eagle member), and the American Association for Justice.

Mr. Nelson has received recognitions for his accomplishments in the legal profession including being named one of the “Top 100 trial lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers from 2017-20. He has also been named to Super Lawyers and Rising Stars by Washington Law & Politics magazine several years in a row.

Mr. Nelson is also an avid basketball player (having played in college) and tennis player. While he still enjoys playing in local leagues in both basketball and tennis, his passion has turned to coaching his son's basketball team.
