A reputed litigation and appellate attorney with close to two decades of professional legal experience, James P. Ware serves his clients from the Seattle office of Gleam Law, in Washington. Admitted to practice law in Washington in 2005, Mr. Ware is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Holding a bachelor's degree in music and economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, he proceeded to secure his doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law. 

During the initial phase of his career, Mr. Ware garnered experience working with a boutique business law firm in Bellevue, Washington. In this tenure, he has been the lead counsel for several jury and bench trials before the state and federal courts, and has represented clients before the Washington State Board of Tax Appeals and the Washington Department of Revenue’s Administrative Review and Hearings Division. He has also played a significant role in the establishment of novel laws governing the statute of limitations for malpractice and negligence claims against tax professionals and the extent of the state’s tied house laws in the cannabis industry. 

Over the years, Mr. Ware has worked for a wide range of clients, spanning from homeowners with Form 17 claims and the estates of those who lost lives as a result of neglect, to multinational corporations.
